This week we are excited to introduce you to Chef Joe Brenner, Executive Chef at Tuscan Kitchen in Salem. As culinary director for Todd English, Chef Brenner helped open 14 restaurants in the 16 years he was with the English Group. Growing up surrounded by food fresh from the garden on his grandfather’s farm in Connecticut, Chef Brenner learned the basics of scratch cooking at an early age from spending time in the kitchen with his grandmother and aunts. He worked his way through college by cooking in kitchens. After graduating from the University of Southern New Hampshire with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Chef Brenner knew his passion was in the kitchen and he turned his attention to learning everything he could about becoming a chef.
