Governor Proclaims May 18-25 as New Hampshire Restaurant Week
Eight-day statewide dining event showcasing more than 100 NH eateries
Concord, NH – Gov. John Lynch announced on Monday, March 12, that he would proclaim May 18-25 as New Hampshire Restaurant Week, further continuing the New Hampshire Lodging & Restaurant Association’s goal in highlighting the Granite State as a culinary destination. More than 100 restaurants across the state have already committed to Restaurant Week NH, an eight-day event featuring prix fixe menus at lunch and/or dinner, and 10 Celebrity Chefs will be promoting the event throughout the state. “Stay and dine” packages will also be offered by participating lodging properties throughout New Hampshire.
“I highly encourage the people of New Hampshire to experience all that our fine restaurants have to offer during New Hampshire Restaurant Week,” Lynch said. “As Governor, I am proud of our restaurant and lodging industry. New Hampshire restaurants are known for their great food and knowledgeable staff, making for a wonderful dining experience that I hope you will experience for yourself during Restaurant Week in May, and all throughout the year.”
Restaurant Week NH is presented by The NH Liquor and Wine Outlet and Great New Hampshire Restaurants. Supporting sponsors are Coca-Cola and Horizon Beverage. Contributing sponsors are American Express, Stella Artois, Sysco, Laconia Savings Bank and the Common Man. Restaurant Week NH is also funded in part by NH Division of Travel and Tourism.
